This notice is for consumers covered by Washington State's My Health My Data Act and similar laws. It covers consumer health data that LiaVerse, operated by EchoPulse LLC, collects or derives. Our main Privacy Policy explains everything else.
What counts as consumer health data in LiaVerse.
LiaVerse does not ask you for health information. But a private journal can contain it, so the categories below may arise from what you choose to write or say:
- Moments, threads and chapters that mention your physical or mental health, treatment, medication, reproductive or sexual health, or the health of someone you write about.
- The mood and themes the AI reads out of a moment, which may reflect mental health.
- A safety mark recording that LiaVerse's support flow was triggered by something you wrote. The mark holds no words.
- Support-flow records that the support screen was shown and which kind of concern was noticed (yourself, another person, or violence), kept without any account identifier for thirty days.
Where it comes from.
Only from you: what you write or speak into LiaVerse, including anything you choose to write about other people, and what LiaVerse's AI derives from it at your request. LiaVerse does not buy, infer from other sources, or collect health data from any third party.
Why we collect it.
To provide the features you ask for: saving your moments, reading a moment for its mood, themes and an observation, finding echoes between moments, writing threads and chapters, and offering a helpline when something you wrote suggests you may be in danger. We do not use it for advertising, profiling for marketing, or any purpose you have not requested.
Who receives it.
Only service providers acting for LiaVerse, each for one function. Supabase, our database and storage provider in the United States, stores every category above: your content, the mood and themes derived from it, and safety marks. Anthropic receives the text of a moment, and the entries needed for an echo, thread or chapter, and returns the mood, themes, observations and writing you see; it does not use them to train its models and generally deletes them within thirty days, subject to the exceptions described in our Privacy Policy. Apple handles sign-in only and receives no health data. RevenueCat (subscriptions) and Expo (app updates) receive no content. EchoPulse LLC has no affiliates. We do not sell consumer health data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it.
Your content stays until you delete it: a moment waits thirty days in Recently Deleted, then is permanently removed; account deletion removes everything at once. Backups expire within seven days. Support-flow records are deleted after thirty days.
Your rights.
You can see your consumer health data in the app, export it from Settings, and delete it moment by moment or by deleting your account from Settings. You can withdraw consent to AI processing at any time by turning AI reading off in Settings, and withdraw it entirely by deleting your account. Turning it off stops future processing; it does not delete the moods, echoes, threads and chapters already derived, which stay until you delete them. You can also exercise these rights by writing to privacy@liaverseapp.com. We will respond within forty-five days, and may extend once by forty-five days where the law allows, telling you why. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will answer the appeal within forty-five days, and if you are not satisfied you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.
Asking.
